Great activities like scuba diving and kayaking, beautiful natural surroundings, and a bar where I can drown my sorrows.
There's nothing I love more than a rushed and impersonal reception, no information about the historic buildings, and weak coffee at breakfast. Just perfect.

Rural setting next to a stream in an old mill. Good-sized room and tasty breakfast.
Difficult for people with reduced mobility. Owners seemed rushed and not very friendly.

I had a wonderful stay at a charming and quiet setting in a historical building. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast served was delicious and the dinner was exceptional, with a great selection of local wine. The owners and staff were incredibly gracious and helpful, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay. The surrounding rural setting, with a stream next to the old mill, added to the peaceful atmosphere. Despite a few drawbacks like the difficulty of accessing the hotel by car and the lack of easy mobility for people with reduced mobility, I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay in a beautiful region of Spain.

We had a fantastic time at Muino Das Canotas, enjoying an array of activities in the beautiful surroundings. We went cycling, horse riding, and even tried our hand at fishing. The location was perfect for outdoor adventures, and we were able to explore the area and connect with nature. It was a wonderful experience for our whole family.
My wife says that having a playground or kids' club would have been great for our children.

I absolutely loved the charming decor of the hotel, especially in the common areas. The old-fashioned furniture, beautiful paintings on the walls, and cozy seating areas created a warm and inviting atmosphere. It made me feel like I was stepping back in time to a more elegant era. The hotel's accessibility for seniors was also impressive. There were ramps and handrails throughout the property, making it easy for older guests like myself to navigate around.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is for the children working there to be a little more attentive. Sometimes, it felt like they were a bit busy and may have forgotten to check in on us or offer assistance when needed.

We had the best night at Muiño das Cañotas. We arrived tired and cold but were quickly organised into our room by the owners. The warm and comfortable bed provided the rest we needed before enjoying a delicious meal in the relaxing restaurant.
